Jill Bowie, LMFT
Hello! My name is Jill Bowie, and welcome. At times, it may feel as if we are alone and that life shouldn’t be this hard. Life can be complicated and challenging throughout any phase of life. It is important to me that my clients feel safe, understood, and challenged as we work together, navigating through personal struggles while highlighting strengths. I want to support your growth toward the person you deserve to be and assist you in finding some peace in this stress-filled world. This often involves visiting personal traumas that have impeded your health and well-being and/or have had a debilitating effect on your life.
I come to you with experience in a variety of areas: depression/anxiety, serious mental illness, trauma, phase of life changes, parenting (including adolescents and children with special needs), personal growth, and the struggles that result from working as a first responder. I utilize EMDR to assist with desensitizing the effects of trauma. I look forward to speaking with you!
