Donna Van Pelt-Moore, LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked in private practice since 1988. I have over 30 years experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children to promote healing and change, and improve relationships. I have additional experience in Family Court mediation and sexual assault treatment.
My experience has taught me that many people enter into marriage deeply in love but without knowing or possessing the key ingredients they'll need to be successful. It may run smoothly at first, but life provides unexpected twists and turns that can cause conflict and result in couples growing apart. I have been blessed over the years in helping couples learn new skills, improve their communication, and resolve their conflicts so they can have a marriage that thrives.
I am also passionate about providing pre-marital counseling to young couples as well as experienced adults who are preparing for a second marriage.
In addition, I enjoy working with adults and teens who are experiencing stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, difficulties in school, and family issues.
